Illustration services come in traditional and digital varieties. For digital art the choices are raster (digital paint), vector, and 3D. Raster art mimics traditional art mediums. Vector art is scalable lossless art that has recently added some features the art raster (feathering, transparency). Design services include print, web, label, and logo. About Uberzilla aka Ron Weed: I
have been providing illustration, design, and some animation services
for over 15year - online. I spent about 7 years as a top freelancer
on Elance which has now merged with O-Desk to create Upwork. I have
also worked on other sites such as Guru. My art career technically
started in high school - first paying jobs. I was part of an advanced
2 year college commercial art program at the high school. I initially
went into drafting - Tool & Die - door trim panels (Pioneer Eng
- for General Motors). I decided drafting to possible engineering
wasn't for me. Over the
years I have worked in web design (starting on the Micrsoft Sidewalk
project), technical illustration (automotive). At this time I spent
two years as an Adjunct Instructor in illustration at MCC community
college.
I decided to move on and was caught up in the great recession of 2006-7-8.
I started freelancing. |
